FAQ's

How long does delivery take and what are the charges?

We offer a free delivery service in the UK and Internationally. Orders placed by 2pm will be delivered the following day for all UK customers only. 

For international customers standard delivery will apply and delivery can take 3-7 working days. Some international countries may apply an additional customs tax that will need to be paid by the recipient when receiving an item from the UK. 

 

Do I need to sign for my parcel?

Yes, your order will require a signature, however If you are not available the carrier will leave a card with instructions as to how to make alternative arrangements. 

 

What payment methods\ does Amala accept and is it safe to use my credit card online?

We accept Visa Debit, Visa Credit, MasterCard and American Express cards. You can also choose to pay with PayPal. 

Shopping online with Amala is 100% secure. We are currently using a payment gateway called Shopify Payments who process all of our orders. All of our customers details and card details are handled by Shopify and securely processed within all government required legislation. If you have any specific concerns please contact our customer service team online who will be happy to provide further information. 

 

How can I track my delivery?

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email containing your tracking number so you can track your package. You can also follow the progress of your delivery by signing into your online account using your username and password.  

 

What is your returns procedure?

At Amala we aim to provide the best customer service and products, however in the unlikely event you are not happy with your purchase you can return your item/s for a refund within 14 days of your delivery date. We offer a free returns service in the UK. For international returns please refer to our returns page for more details. If you would like to exchange an item, you will need to return it and place a new order.

How quickly is my return processed?

You can follow the progress of your package with our courier using the tracking number provided. As soon as we have received and accepted your item we will send an email to confirm the completion of your refund. All refunds are issued via the original payment method and will normally appear within 10 business days, depending on the processing time of your payment provider. 

 

How do I place an order on your site?

Placing an order is easy at Amala. Here’s how:

  1. Choose a category from the top navigation menu or search to explore a specific style or trend
  2. Select the size of your item and click ‘Add to cart’. Once you have finished adding your items, proceed to checkout
  3. Sign in to your account if you have not done so already. If you do not have an account, simply enter your email address to proceed.
  4. Enter your address and payment information to complete your order.
  5. Once your purchase is confirmed, it will be carefully prepared and shipped to you. We’ll be sure to keep you updated every step of the way.

Can I place an order over the phone?

Orders can only be placed online, please follow the instructions under ‘How do I place an order on your site’.

 

Do I need an account to place an order?

An email address is all you need to start the order process, however by registering with us and creating an account, you will be able to: track your orders and review past purchases, request a return or exchange directly from your account, shop even quicker next time by saving your address and card details, and manage your account details, address book and email preferences.

 

I have forgotten my password: what should I do?

Simply follow the 'Forgot your password?’ link on our sign in page and enter your email address. You will then receive an email to reset your password.

 

Why can i not purchase an item in an XS or XL size? 

We will be introducing sizes XS and XL in the coming months for all of our items. 

 

How do i look after my Amala purchase?

All Amala items are gentle dry clean only, please refer to our ‘Care Guide’ page for more details.
